“The World’s Greatest Tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers!” So say Katie Daryl, Mark Cuban and Ryan Seacrest of AXS-TV as they selected the PettyBreakers to perform on their hit TV show in 2014.
The PettyBreakers pay tribute to the legendary Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, channeling the spirit and essence of one of rock and roll’s most iconic figures. For nearly fifteen years, they have been paying homage to Tom Petty. The PettyBreakers have captured the heart and soul of his extensive catalog with unparalleled precision and genuine passion. Led by their charismatic frontman, Ozzie Mancinelli, the PettyBreakers replicate not only the distinctive sound but also the electric charisma that made Tom Petty an enduring force in the music industry. From the jangly chords of “Free Fallin'” to the raw energy of “Runnin’ Down a Dream,” the PettyBreakers transport audiences to a time when Tom Petty’s music defined the soundtrack of American life. Each note, each lyric, and each gesture on stage is a heartfelt tribute to the man whose poetic songwriting and authentic performances left an indelible mark on the hearts of millions.
The band has played in 26 states and Washington D.C. Having performed at many performing arts centers, theaters, casinos, clubs, festivals and corporate and other private events, one of the highlights so far was performing the iconic catalog of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers live at the Naval Yard in Washington D.C. in 2018 for Major League Baseball’s Allstars Pregame Celebration. Another highlight was performing a four and half month residency in the Sammy Davis Showroom at Harrah’s Casino in Reno in 2017. And, yet another, was being selected in 2014 as “The World’s Greatest Tribute to Tom Petty” by AXS-TV. The band performed a live show at the Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood to a capacity crowd, which was cablecast on AXS-TV. Theirs is a show you won’t want to miss!
