Wild Child – A Live Doors Concert Recreation w/ Hello Mr. Soul: A Tribute to Neil Young

Wild Child – A Live Doors Concert Recreation w/ Hello Mr. Soul: A tribute to Neil Young Genre: Cover Band142 Pacific Coast Hwy,Hermosa Beach, CA 9025421+ Only   About the Artist The LA Times said, “Wild Child is a winner! What’s amazing is that vocalist Dave Brock sings like Morrison, enough to imperil the snowflake analogy about no two sets of vocal chords to be able to produce the exact same vocal tone.” The Daily Bulletin said “Brock, who bears more than a passing resemblance, evokes the Morrison persona without being forced.” Jim Ladd, the famous Los Angeles KLOS FM radio DJ and Rock and roll critic described Wild Child to his listeners. “These Guys are excellent, not a cartoon version of The Doors but a very loving and respectful, accurate and well done tribute to The Doors.” Since Wild Child debuted, the act has been touring and playing at sold out national act venues and festivals around the world. Wild Child became the mold that “tribute bands” aspired to become, as they flooded the market in the 1990’s with good and bad impersonations of famous artists. In 1992, Brock was also noticed by film Director and Producer Robert Zemeckis and played the part of Jim Morrison in the comedy film “Death Becomes Her.” In 2010 Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger of The Doors, invited Dave to tour with them as their vocalist on their concert engagements. This was perhaps the best compliment Dave has ever received from anyone for his work. He presently tours with them. In recent years, Dave has picked up the game of golf and has become a low handicapper. Dave’s interest in the game has also led him into avenues of Charity and Pro-Am Golf events. Dave participated in The Bill Clinton Humana Challenge Pro-Am PGA Tour in 2013 at PGA West, The Patrick Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament for St Jude Kids and The Scott Medlock – Robby Krieger St. Jude Invitational. Dave currently resides with his family in Southern California, tours with Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger of The Doors and with Wild Child.   For any additional questions, please check out our FAQ page here: https://saintrocke.com/faqs/If your questions are not answered there, please reach out to us at info@saintrocke.com

The Queers + D.I. w/ Roman’s Weirdos

The Queers + D.I. & Roman’s Weirdos Genre: Punk Rock142 Pacific Coast Hwy,Hermosa Beach, CA 9025421+ Only   About the Artist The Queers is a pop-punk/punk rock band from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, formed in 1982. Singer/Guitarist/Songwriter Joe King has been the principal member of the group, with a vast number of musicians cycling in and out of the band over the years. Supposedly, the band name ‘Queers’ was used simply to poke fun at what he called the “Art Fag” community in NH. That same brand of humor and inanity has become a staple of The Queers music, who have produced songs such as “Can’t Stop Farting”, “Born To Do Dishes”, and “I Didn’t Get Invited To The Prom” in their own Ramones-esque style. While some punk rock bands attempt to use their music to impart a social or political message, King has made it clear that The Queers exist simply to play punk rock for the fun of it. The Queers play a Ramones style of pop punk with songs about girls and beer. King has often collaborated with Ben Weasel, from Screeching Weasel. The band begun with a notoriety primarily in their own backyard, but with the release of Love Songs for the Retarded, recorded by legendary punk producer Mass Giorgini, their following grew to international proportions. They have collaborated with Mass Giorgini several times since. Along with his casual acquaintance Ben Weasel, Joe King has criticized the re-emergence of the street punk scene and what he sees as the glorification of violence and class warfare by certain bands. The song, “Little Rich Working Class Oi Boy” from the album Beyond the Valley of the Assfuckers takes aim at the working class pretensions and bellicose attitudes of some members of the Oi! scene. In a 2005 post to The Queers official website, King criticizes the effect of Boston punk band, the Dropkick Murphys. Writes King, “With all this stupid fucking Irish/Dropkick BS these days the whole punk scene (what’s left of it) is full of assholes that just wanna fight.”       For any additional questions, please check out our FAQ page here: https://saintrocke.com/faqs/If your questions are not answered there, please reach out to us at info@saintrocke.com

Missus Jones: A Tribute to Amy Winehouse

Missus Jones: A Tribute to Amy Winehousew/ Special Guests Genre: Cover Band142 Pacific Coast Hwy,Hermosa Beach, CA 9025421+ Only   About the Artist Missus Jones is an amazing and very professional tribute to the late great Ms. Amy Winehouse. The band has been doing shows for over 10 years now and we have over 38k followers on Instagram! The style of the band covers many genres such as Blues, Jazz, Ska, Reggae, R&B, Funk, and Pop and has several configurations which can include at its maximum, a 10-piece band including Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keys, 3-Horns, 2-backgrounds and of course our Amy Winehouse. We can always scale it down due to space and production limitations.  What you probably don’t know is that Missus Jones isn’t just a carbon copy of Amy’s show, we add a little lightness, spunk, and fun to the show. In the middle of the show, we also let our background singers take over and do a “mini set” of Disco, Funk, and Soul music just to liven things up a bit and this ALWAYS gets EVERYONE out of their seats again and on the dance floor.  The band wears full suits with ties and our Amy is always drop-dead beautiful along with her stellar voice and SERIOUS beehive. This band has a unique integrity and a specific retro style both visually and musically that sets them apart from most other bands. With such a diverse catalog such as Amy’s, we appeal to everyone from 8-80! LITERALLY!   For any additional questions, please check out our FAQ page here: https://saintrocke.com/faqs/If your questions are not answered there, please reach out to us at info@saintrocke.com

Metalachi – The World’s First & Only Heavy Metal Mariachi Band w/ Vinyl Cats

Metalachi: The World’s First & Only Heavy Metal Mariachi Band w/ Vinyl Cats Genre: Metal/Mariachi142 Pacific Coast Hwy,Hermosa Beach, CA 9025421+ Only   About the ArtistOn a hot summer night in Veracruz Mexico circa 1982, Consuela Espinoza stumbled out of her dilapidated shanty and into Rock N Roll history. What began as an innocent night of snorting horse tranquilzers in a hotel room with seven members of the village jai alai team went on to produce a great metal band. Unhampered by a steady regime of tequila and ill advised sumo lessons, nine months later five bastard children where born. Unable to care for her hungry offspring and concerned that motherhood would seriously interfere with her Tuesday night Karaoke league, Consuela hastily packed the babies into the saddlebags of a burro and sent her children off to America in search of a better life. Against all odds, 14 years later, and nearly dead from dehydration, the burro knelt down to drink from the stagnant waters of the Rio Grande just ouside of Juarez Mexico –mere yards from the U.S. border. With one fleeting burst of energy the brothers Espinoza cinco climbed from their leather restraints and scampered the vast reach of the river, collapsing onto the sweet amber hue of American soil. As if by destiny, lodged in the sand beneath their tanned faces was a record sleeve upon which were the words “Paranoid” and “Black Sabbath.” For many years to follow, this definitive black metal album served not only as a teacher and a mentor..but also as a friend. From these bleak and humble beginnings grew the seed that would eventually be the band we know today as Metalachi.    For any additional questions, please check out our FAQ page here: https://saintrocke.com/faqs/If your questions are not answered there, please reach out to us at info@saintrocke.com
