Retro Revival
Retro Revival is a dynamic, high energy rock and roll circus that brings together the best music from the 60s and 70s. Unlike traditional cover bands, Retro Revival caters to high-end night clubs, parties, and events, building set lists based on crowd response and interactions and ensuring a night full of dancing and entertainment.

Retro Revival was formed from the natural and genuine bond of friends and their desire to build a vehicle to play music with one another. Chris Vazquez (Guitar) took a long drive one Sunday afternoon with his childhood friend, Justin Resnick (Keyboard). As Justin explained his longing to be in a band again and play music live, the seeds for Retro Revival were planted. A promise was made that day to make this request a reality, and within a few weeks, Retro Revival was born.

Before the car ride was complete, Justin and Chris were on the phone with their best friends Michael Torres (Bass) and Dave Lewis (Drums). Chris, Dave, Mike, and Justin all lived in Boston together while attending the Berklee College of Music. There was only one person who could front this band and deliver the type of raw attitude that a truly authentic classic needs, and that was Matt Einstein (Vocals.) For nearly four years, Matt and Chris played in the Los Angeles-based band Los Einstein together, putting out one full-length album and playing countless shows across the city. Their mutual love for the 60s and 70s era of rock & roll and soul music quickly brought forward a diverse catalog of music for the band to begin learning. As the song catalog grew, it became clear that two guitars would be needed to truly deliver the right sound for the band. Retro Revival recruited the perfect addition in John Adair (Guitar). As a six-piece band, Retro Revival was complete and ready for the masses.

Retro Revival honed their show at Basement Tavern in Santa Monica, CA, becoming an in-demand resident act at the venue. If you're lucky, you can still catch the band every month at The Basement Tavern. It's a poorly kept secret that everyone seems to be in on.
