PEACE FROG
PEACE FROG
Celebrating their 16th anniversary, this highly acclaimed act pays tribute to Jim Morrison and The Doors by recreating the magic and intensity of a Doors concert experience. Based out of Venice, California, lead singer Tony Fernandez lives out every move of Jim Morrison on stage and delivers a powerful recreation of true likeness in presence, vocals, mannerisms and spirit. Peace Frog is the drama and rock theater that made the Doors famous. Dark and spooky, mystical and hypnotic, the band demonstrates the ability to transform any room into an actual Doors concert experience. With intoxicating renditions of "Hello, I Love You", "Light My Fire", "L.A. Woman", "The End" and many of the Doors classic songs, Peace Frog has the crowd entranced! Jim Morrison can no longer perform live, but when you witness Peace Frog you will think you are at Doors concert. It is a must see for all Doors fans and for anyone looking to experience an amazing recreation of a Doors show!

Ever since I can remember I was singing, making noise and banging on things. At 12 I begged my mom to buy me the used drum kit for sale up the street from my childhood home in Oakland, CA. She said “No”, as any sane single mother would, offering instead to buy me a guitar if I took lessons. At 14 I was part of my first, short-lived, band “The Stairs”. A year later we became “The Rage”, performing across the bay area and even playing some sold out shows.

In college I was one of the founding members of “The Fire Department”. After winning UCSB’s annual battle of the bands we were given the opportunity to open for Snoop Dogg, Iration, and Wolfgang Gartner, at UCSB’s Extravaganza festival. After playing across California at “Earth Day” Santa Barbara, Art and Soul in Oakland, The CA beer festival circuit, and various venues, I decided to embark on writing and recording a record of my original material.

I moved to Los Angeles and began to call various friends of mine, who were awesome people and amazing musicians, each with a unique and individual voice. We have had a blast recording our debut record at Studio 637 in Hermosa Beach, CA, working with their talented crew, and mixing engineers Nick Rives and Dave Aron. Following the release of our debut single “Take a Chance” on Jan.11th 2016, we will be announcing tour dates, and future releases.
